I won't lie.

Recently I've been posting less because I've fell away from games, recently. Mass Effect about 3 hours a week and Henry Hatsworth a few minutes nearly every day are really all I've found myself interested in lately, at least in the realm of video games.

So, unless something special happens, I doubt I'll continue this blog.

Kongregate

It's a great site, http://www.kongregrate.com that is. If you haven't visited it before and have a secret love for web games like I do, check it out. I'm a complete pushover when offered tower defense games.

Anyways, I just finished trying out the demo of Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2. I didn't have the cash for it when it first came out but, being that it's 25% off on Steam from now until the 20th, I'm jumping on that sale.

Anywho, the new Episode of Lost is tonight. This episode is the peak before the quick down hill ride toward the season finale.

World of Warcraft

I know WoW is over 4 years old, but I'm back at it, slaying trash mobs to finish those stupid simple quests. Oh, if any of is on Moon Guard server, hit me up. My level 65 Warrior is Palimbasha.

I know I really don't have readers, but that's besides the point. Anyways, I need to go back to Zangarmarsh.

New Beginnings

That's what I'll claim this is. I had this account many years ago, as you can see from my previous posts, and had it under a hotmail e-mail address. Now I've accidentally, but luckily gotten it merged with my new blog account.

Anyways, something worthwhile.

I've been playing Diablo 2 again lately. My top character so far is a level 45ish Barbarian which I just started nightmare with.

Actually, I need to return to normal and go to the Secret Cow Level, I just realized. I'm going to go do that right after this post.

I know some people will bitch and whine about this, but I play single player. When I want to go online, I use Team Fortress 2. Diablo isn't an online thing to me. I will play LAN sometimes, but not online.

On the topic of LAN, has anyone heard of Hamachi. It's an awesome program. Create a LAN over the internet. I love it. That way I can play with my brother without having to haul my computer to his house.

Anyways, Secret Cow Level, here I come.

P.S. Even over 8 years later, Diablo 2 still rocks.

I'm still around.

Wow, my last post was over 3 months ago. Funny thing is, the only people that will see this is:

1. Spambots.
2. People I force to come here.
3. Me.

Oh well, who cares?

So, with the revealed price, back at E3, of $499 and $599, I'm not getting a PS3. At least, not until after the first price drop. With my great hate of M$, I won't get a X-box 360.

That leaves me with my definite choice: The Wii. Nintendo Wii. I already have a few games preordered and now all I wait for is the preordering of the actual console to become available. As soon as that happens, I'll be quite happy.

There's really not any interesting news on gaming as of recent, so I won't speak of anything there.

Til next time, adios.

So, What's New?

So, rumors. Yes, it's the official week of rumors. The week before E3 always has been like that.

A few rumors have caught my eye. I'll tell you the cool ones that might kick ass. Also, know, some of these rumors may have been proven wrong or right. If this is the case, please tell me.

First rumor: The PS3, which comes with a 60 GB HDD, will cost $399. Now, even if the Xbox 360 is already priced at $399, that's still a pretty hefty price (as opposed to the normally expected price of $299 for new consoles). The only thing I hope with this rumor, if it's true, is that Sony DOES NOT offer more then one version of their console. I don't want game companies to be limited because some gamers don't have a HDD in their PS3.

The rumor was actually offered by Playstation Magazine, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Besides, we're suppose to here the official price on the 8th. That's 4 days away.

As for news, We're going to see the DS Lite here on the 11th of June for $129.99, Bethesda's game Oblivion has be rerated M instead of T because of some nude skins in it, EA claims it'll have a playable demo of Madden for the Wii and PS3(I'm interested in seeing what the Wii one's like), Of course no Diablo 3 at E3, nor will we see anything about Fallout 3 (currently being made by Bethesda), and the rumor of Nintendo not having a patent on 'Wii' is false.

Also, as always, Peter Moore is an idiot. He's quoted in Newsweek saying: "If the controller is different and innovative; fine. But I would say that Xbox Live is the bigger innovation. It depends on your definition of innovative. If having a DVD style controller defines innovation; great. I would argue that talking millions of gamers and connecting them with friends and strangers around the world... I'd call that pretty innovative."

Sorry to break it to you, buddy, but people were gaming on the PC with systems like Gamespy and Battle.net (as well as many others) long before Xbox Live came around. And, they were/are doing it for free.
